Salary: £16,000 – £19,000 per annum

The Office Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the business meets its Health & Safety and statutory compliance obligations across a large portfolio of properties. The role combines compliance administration with general office and operational support, acting as a central point of coordination for documentation, monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities for an apprentice
- Health & Safety Compliance
- Monitor statutory compliance schedules using Excel spreadsheets and internal trackers across all managed properties
- Carry out daily checks of compliance logs to ensure inspections, certificates, and actions are up to date
- Attend property inspections when required to support compliance requirements
- Provide administrative support to the Director’s PA and Property Managers
- Answer and direct telephone calls and manage incoming emails
- Welcome visitors, contractors, and clients to the office
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming post and invoices
- Prepare, print, and frank outgoing correspondence
- Hand out and track keys through our internal key log
- File and maintain invoice records accurately
- Provide occasional assistance with accounts-related tasks
Apprenticeship Information
You will be enrolled on the Business Service Level 3 Apprenticeship, typically completed over 18 months. This includes:
- Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
- A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
- Development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
- Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
- Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2
Prospects
Once you have completed your apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to potentially go into a permanent based role.
