Logging a concern

If you have seen or experienced something which you don’t think is right and is concerning you, support is available and we want to prevent this from reoccurring. We can only do this if concerns are shared and we know that this can be challenging. You can now share your concerns with the Safeguarding Team by completing the safeguarding online form and this can be completed anonymously if you wish to.

All concerns will be treated sensitively and confidentially. However, in the event that an individual is at serious risk of harm, we may share information with other agencies such as the emergency services or social care.

It is important you feel safe, if you are worried or concerned about yourself or someone you know, please talk to us:

What People Are Saying

I had a wonderful teacher—Julia. I was really lucky to have a teacher like her. All sessions were interesting and easy for me to understand, as I’m not a native English speaker. I passed my L1 and L2 smoothly with her help. Highly recommended.
My coach Debbie has been amazing, so encouraging and easy to talk to! I’m so grateful for all her support, helping me achieve way higher than I’d expected for myself.
Also, my functional skills coach Emily was amazing too and able to coach me through passing my maths exams (maths being my nemesis).
What a great team! I’d highly recommend Next Step Apprenticeships.
I had an amazing experience with Julia! She was incredibly helpful throughout my exam preparation, always providing me with plenty of useful materials and resources. What really stood out was her flexibility—she always managed to accommodate my busy schedule, which made a huge difference. On top of that, she was super friendly and easy to talk to, which made our sessions enjoyable and stress-free. Thanks to her support and guidance, I passed my English exams, and I couldn’t be happier.
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better English tutor!
Lisa has been extremely supportive throughout my EYFS course. She has always been available, patient, and very clear in her explanations. I have learned a lot from her, and she consistently guided me with professionalism and kindness.

As English is my second language, I really appreciated the way she adapted her teaching to help me understand better and feel more confident. Her support made a big difference in my preparation for the assessments.

Overall, Lisa has been an excellent tutor, and I am very grateful for her guidance.

I found the apprenticeship amazing, with the help of my brilliant tutor Laura Tully Green! She was amazing and made me want to continue and work hard. She supported me even when I was behind, and now I have completed it on time! She made everything make sense and even took my learning disability into account, providing more support than I ever got in school! She helped me pass and I got a distinction! I would not have been able to do it without her.
I have just completed my apprenticeship with Next Step and have really enjoyed it. My skills coach Debbie has been amazing all the way through, guiding me through each part of the course and preparing me for my end-point assessments. On top of that, she was so friendly and easy to chat with, making our sessions enjoyable and stress-free. Thanks to her support and guidance, I passed all my exams, and I am over the moon ☺️
I had a great experience with my math and English teacher, Julia. She has always been welcoming and supportive, and she always believed in my abilities. She gave me great motivation and confidence to succeed in both English and math. I always felt very relaxed during my lessons and looked forward to them. I’m going to miss my lessons with her.
