Job Title: Marketing Assistant Apprentice

Apprenticeship: Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship

Location: Broadbridge Heath, Horsham

Salary: £22,000 – £25,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established business as a Marketing Assistant Apprentice.

Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you will gain hands-on experience across digital marketing, content creation, social media, events, customer engagement and brand communications, supporting both local activity and national manufacturer campaigns. This varied role is ideal for someone creative, enthusiastic and eager to develop a career in marketing.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
• Confident using social media and digital platforms
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
• Passion for content creation, photography and videography
• Willingness to learn new marketing techniques and technologies
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar software is advantageous

Responsibilities for an Apprentice

• Support the planning, delivery and monitoring of marketing campaigns
• Create engaging content for social media, websites and email marketing
• Produce photography and video content for promotional activities
• Assist with website updates and SEO best practices
• Help manage customer databases and email marketing campaigns
• Design digital and printed marketing materials
• Support the planning and delivery of events, promotions and community initiatives
• Monitor campaign performance and prepare reports on marketing activity
• Work with sales and aftersales teams to identify marketing opportunities
• Keep up to date with marketing trends, AI tools and social media developments
• Assist with administrative tasks to support the wider marketing function

Apprenticeship Information

You will be enrolled on the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship, typically completed over 18 months. This includes:

• Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
• A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
• Development of skills, knowledge and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
• Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
• Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2
