Job Title: Marketing & Administration Apprentice

Apprenticeship: Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship

Location: Brighton & Hove, East Sussex

Salary: £20,000 – £23,000 per annum

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Administration Apprentice to join an established property business.

This is a varied position split approximately 50% marketing and 50% administration, making it ideal for someone who already has some experience within both areas and is looking to develop their skills further while completing a Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship.

You will support digital marketing campaigns, social media and content creation alongside providing day-to-day administrative support to the wider business.

Requirements

• 1–2 years’ digital marketing experience is highly desirable
• 1–2 years’ administration experience is highly desirable
• Genuine interest in developing a career within marketing
• Experience using social media platforms
• Some understanding of digital marketing and advertising best practice
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Confident and professional communicator
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organisational and administrative skills
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Comfortable working across a varied workload
• Proactive and willing to contribute ideas
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4/C or above, or equivalent

Responsibilities for an Apprentice

Marketing – approximately 50%

• Support the development and delivery of multi-channel marketing campaigns
• Create engaging content for digital and social media channels
• Help plan and maintain social media content
• Assist with email marketing campaigns
• Produce marketing copy and creative assets
• Support campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, engagement and lead generation
• Monitor marketing campaign performance and help identify opportunities for improvement
• Carry out competitor and market research
• Support the creation of case studies and website content
• Assist with events and wider promotional activity
• Support marketing projects and content production

Administration – approximately 50%

• Provide day-to-day administrative support across the business
• Respond to emails and general enquiries
• Maintain accurate records and internal information
• Update spreadsheets, documents and internal systems
• Prepare correspondence and supporting documentation
• Assist with organising meetings, appointments and activities
• Support colleagues with general administrative requirements
• Maintain organised digital records and files
• Help coordinate information across different areas of the business
• Provide additional administrative support as required

The original role brief specifically combines campaign development, digital content, social media and marketing administration, alongside a preference for candidates with previous experience in both digital marketing and administration.

Apprenticeship Information

You will be enrolled on the Level 3 Multi-Channel Marketer Apprenticeship, typically completed over approximately 18 months. This includes:

• Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
• Off-the-job training completed during your normal paid working hours
• Development of skills, knowledge and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
• Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
• Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2

Prospects

Once you have completed your apprenticeship, there will be the opportunity to potentially progress into a permanent role within the business, continuing to develop your career across marketing and administration.
