Job Title: Customer Service & Sales Apprentice

Apprenticeship: Customer Service / Business Administration Apprenticeship

Location: Horley, Surrey

Salary: £18,700 per annum

Hours: Full-time

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills with a friendly and confident telephone manner
  • Good written English and basic maths skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Basic IT literacy including spreadsheets and email systems
  • Ability to follow company procedures including data protection and health & safety
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle would be advantageous

 

Responsibilities for an apprentice

  • Providing customer service support via phone and email
  • Managing bookings and filling available class spaces
  • Keeping customer sales lists updated and maintaining contact with clients
  • Supporting general administrative duties including printing, reporting and payment tracking
  • Updating company social media channels and website content
  • Assisting with customer enquiries and follow-ups
  • Representing the business at occasional events where required
  • Supporting the wider office team with day-to-day tasks

 

Apprenticeship Information

You will be enrolled on the Customer Service or Business Administration Apprenticeship, typically completed over 18 months. This includes:

  • Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
  • A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
  • Development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
  • Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
  • Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2

 

Prospects

Once you have completed your apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to potentially go into a permanent based role.
