Apprenticeship: Business Administration Level 3
Location: Brighton
Salary: £7.55 per hour
Hours: Full-time – Monday to Friday, 9:30am to 6:00pm (Some weekend work may be required)
A leading physiotherapy and osteopathy clinic based in Brighton. Specialising in back and neck pain, sciatica, and sports injuries, they pride themselves on providing professional, high-quality care in a friendly and supportive environment.
They are now seeking a Receptionist Apprentice to join their dynamic and growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to develop administrative and customer service skills within a healthcare setting. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth patient experience — managing appointments, processing payments, and supporting both the clinical and administrative sides of the business.

Responsibilities for an apprentice
- Front of House Duties – Answer phone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate team members.
- Appointment Management – Assist with client bookings and ensure schedules are managed efficiently
- Financial Administration – Process invoices, handle payments, and support expenditure tracking.
- Customer Communication – Provide information about clinic services and maintain positive relationships with clients.
- Administrative Support – Prepare and organise documents, edit and print materials, and assist with travel or technical arrangements.
- Operational Support – Identify and suggest ways to improve processes and support business efficiency.
Apprenticeship Information
You will be enrolled on the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, typically completed over 18 months. This includes:
- Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
- A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
- Development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
- Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
- Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2
Prospects
Once you have completed your apprenticeship there will be the opportunity to potentially go into a permanent based role.
