Responsibilities for an Apprentice

As an apprentice this is a diverse and dynamic role where no two days are the same, you will work closely with senior staff and gain hands-on experience across multiple business functions, including:

  • Client Services: Handling customer queries, generating and sending quotes, and providing excellent customer support.
  • Administration & Stock Control: Managing stock, preparing purchase orders, and completing general office tasks.
  • Communication & Coordination: Answering phone calls and emails, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Hands-On Support: Occasionally assisting with larger orders, requiring a team-oriented, ‘all hands-on deck’ approach.

  • Proficient in Excel and Word Microsoft office

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCSEs (grade A-C) in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.

 

Prospects

  • Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, there will be opportunities to progress into a permanent role within the business.
  • You will have a dedicated in-house trainer who has worked with the company previously, providing structured training sessions.
  • Apprenticeship work will be supported with allocated time each week for off-the-job learning.

 

Job Title: Customer Service Administrator Apprentice

Location: Brighton
Salary: £20,000 – £24,000 per annum
Full time: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm (37.5hrs per week)
